This is the wording included in our puppy contract:

We will buy back the dog, FOR ANY REASON, for full selling price, if buyer decides he no longer wants the dog, or cannot keep the dog, for the lifetime of the dog.  Under no circumstances shall dog be sold to a 3^rd party without the Seller’s knowledge and permission.  Under no circumstances may puppy/dog be placed with individuals for resale, nor to place them in any type of Humane Society or dog rescue situation.

We have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the physical soundness and temperament of the puppy, including its Sire and Dam.  Sire and Dam have been vet examined and determined free from patellar luxation and hip dysplasia, and are current in their CERF and BAER certification. 

Should congenital abnormalities be discovered in this puppy that require treatment and/or corrective surgery, the Buyer may prefer to keep their dog rather than return it.  If this is the case, we will contribute to the costs of treatment and or surgery, up to the purchase price of the puppy.
